Weekend timetable

Team Escape are busy organising an action packed weekend timetable for Escape 2018.

Check out LAST year’s timetable below to give you an idea of what we will have in store….

Friday

Welcome drink, meet fellow campers and introduction to the weekend. Please make sure you are on site by 4pm latest.

Explore our fabulous working farm and meet the farm animals.

Introduction to nocturnal animals and setting up traps with the brilliant guys from The Sussex Wildlife Trust

Baiting and putting out Hedgehog Tunnels

Adventuring into the woods to set the moth trap and Small Mammal Traps

Fire lighting and creating fire circle with all night ‘drop-in activities

Bat Walk – the farm yard is teaming with them!

Saturday

Up early to collect Small Mammal Traps and see what we’ve got!

Collect Hedgehog Tunnels  and Moth Trap opening (Tom & Michael)

‘Drop in’ creative activities around the fire circle site. Using natural paints to create leaf prints of the wildlife we’ve found so far.

Wildlife walk / bug hunt to the reservoir with the Sussex Wildlife Trust

Group sessions with Axe and Paddle bush crafts. Each child (over 5s) will have the opportunity to make a bow from scratch!

Yoga, yoga, yoga – across the whole weekend Yoga sessions will be run with a variety of activities for adults and child. No experience needed, it’s all about having fun and relaxing in nature.

Archery competition – homemade bows at the ready!

Mud Pie making –  a great activity for the younger escaper.

Tractor rides with the farm team. Escapers will be driven into the depths of the farm land hunting for the live stock!

Planting and picking in our organic garden, learn about where our food comes from.

 

Sunday

Nature Nurture Sussex will be leading adventures into the woods. Nature painting, rope course and fairy hunting!

Sunday stroll with the farm team, stretch the legs and hunt for bugs.

Treasure hunt for all the family

Games in the garden, weather dependent.

Depart from the farm, exhausted but happy!
