About the farm

Our home for some 40 years, Busses Farm is set amid 300 acres of farm and woodland in the Sussex countryside, 25 miles from London and near the Surrey and Kent borders – ten minutes from Ashdown Forest. As well as an abundance of great activities and distractions here on the farm, there is a wide range of lovely attractions in the vicinity.

YoghurtRooms is set in the beautiful East Sussex countryside, just a stone’s throw from a number of classic English villages, including Hartfield and Forest Row. Hartfield goes back to 1086 and is recorded in the Domesday Book. It is said the real-life Christopher Robin (from Winnie the Pooh) shopped here in the 1920s. Forest Row sits on the edge of the Ashdown Forest and lays claim to celebrity residents such as Pink Floyd guitarist Dave Gilmour and comedian and author Ben Elton.

Inside knowledge

We are always on hand to give you the lowdown about the local area. Having lived here for more than 40 years we know it inside and out, including the best pubs, restaurants and places to visit, and all the secret spots away from the tourists. Please don’t hesitate to ask.
