We are proud partners of the West Sussex Ceremonies Team
Yoghurt Rooms must adhere to the conditions of the West Sussex County Council Licence, as described below:
The Yoghurt Rooms barn is licenced for Civil Ceremonies. In order for the ceremony to have legal status, the ceremony MUST take place INSIDE the barn.
We are proud to have been hosts to many happy unions since our licence was granted in 2016.
In order to have a legal outside wedding, the ceremony must take place within a permanent structure, with a fixed roof, that has been licenced for marriage. That’s our Bandstand, which will be brand new at the start of the 2020 wedding season.
Don’t forget: For weddings in the Bandstand, you must ensure that the Registrar, the Superintendent Registrar (or Deputies), the couple and 2 witnesses are all inside the structure when the statutory declarations are made to ensure it is a legal ceremony.
Booking your ceremony
All ceremony bookings must be made by contacting the West Sussex Registration Team:
Telephone: 01243 642122
As soon as you confirm a date with us, you will need to contact them to provide the services of a registrar.
We can accommodate weekend wedding ceremonies at any time of day on the Saturday of your booking.
